All that is needed to start designing your custom dream home is an idea. Sometimes ideas start on a napkin, scratch paper or grid paper. Sometimes they come from years of collecting pictures and floor plans from magazines or web pages. Maybe you like different things about several plans. We will take those ideas and turn them into you dream home.

During the preliminary design stage it is important to see each revision stage as an important stage of the process. Each step should involve getting input from each future resident of your home. It is very important that you feel in complete control during the throughout the design process. We will build and revise your future dream home together.

Once you are satisfied and have a complete understanding with all facets of the design we will prepare the final set of plans. Once completed the construction documents will include:

• Cover page w/ general notes
• Floor Plans (all floors)
• Four Elevations
• Foundation Plan and Details
• Main Floor and and Upper Floor Framing Plans and Details
• Roof Framing Plan and Details
• Building Cross Sections (as many as it takes to clearly show your home)
• General Log Construction Details
• Window and Door Schedules

Optional items that can be included in your plans are:
Finishing schedules
Site plan
